Little Notes For Little Aliyah

Dear Aliyah,

I've missed again your monthly birthday. When I left you last week, you were learning how to sit down. Mama told me last night that you're already good at it.I hope Mama got it videotaped.

It been a rough month for us, being apart for weeks. And when i come home, i have to say goodbye again. This assignment is harder, but I believe it'll make a person better. Don't fall back on your challenges, Aliyah. You face them with your principles and it makes you stronger.

*sigh*Papa's still not back yet from the Sarawak trip.Looks like I'll have to stay home for the hols.i would like to catch the fireworks alive..but Mama says we'll just catch in on TV..doesn't like the crowds.

5 months...

Hello everyone,

I'm now 5 months old!

For now, I like to make high pitched sounds..just like the sounds of birds, which annoys Mama sometimes.
But know what, just last night, I explored with the sounds again that lulled Mama to sleep!

I love to look at pictures too..and things that move.
Mama just bought me a butterfly mobile,which is orange and purple in colour.
They're simply beautiful!

Mama has started giving me rice cereals,together with my milk.
How I love them...YUMMY!
I'm looking forward to my next eating session..hehehe.

Thank you for the wonderful gift..Mommy unwrapped the package yesterday..OshKosh B'Gosh! They 're beautiful...and how thoughtful of you to get a few sizes bigger..Must be really cheap..Papa reminds you to get more for Little Aliyah if you are visiting Singapore soon. How is Little Martin doing? Is he speaking English, Mandarin or Malay?

Look at me...i'm 3 months old.... my cheeky milk rash wouldn't go...please mommy.. Somehow i've finally make up of my parents daily routine...Mommy would put me to sleep by seven... I need her to cuddle me up... This is the fun part...Wake Mommy up at midnight to get my treat...Daddy keep teasing me about my drumstick arms... Morning playtime seems to be the best time..the wind blowing the curtains simply captivates me.. - Little Aliyah

Thank you Mama for the trouble I've created last night. My tummy wasn't feeling too good, and thus I vomitted..and created a mess in my cot. Thank you for cleaning me up and putting me back to sleep.I can't promise I won't do it again..I'll try ok?

It was thoughtful of you too, not to wake Papa up as he was already sound asleep.I knew you would always be there for me Mama, ensuring that I'm safe and sound.

Aliyah

Two Months. . .

Little Aliyah turns two months today. Oh girl, how big she's grown. Her obvious features are those cheeky cheeks. It has to do with her consistant late supper. Her facial features are beginning to shape up to...eer..papa, perhaps? Ok mommy. Once she makes this 'little noise'..and papa was thinking that she must have pick this bad habit in mommy's tummy while papa is snoring. Another prominent feature is her eye lashes, which has grown considerably.

She's beggining to be aware of her surroundings, always staying quiet when outdoors. Mommy says she likes going out...just like mommy unlike Papa who prefers the coutch and notebook.

Last night she smile when Mommy repeatedly caresses her chin. She simply loves this moment.

Dear Papa,
Thanks for the flowers. They're beautiful. Mama whispered to me last night how you gave never miss giving her roses every month. She told me that she's a little upset now that the flowers are meant for me not her. And it's not really nice when she's upset. She wouldn't humm my favourite sleepy tune. So please, don't forget her flowers next month.
